This Saturday, April 2, Ole Miss Rebels’ wide receiver and a top NFL Draft prospect, Laquon Treadwell, will host his first football camp at the FNC Park in Oxford.
Located at 328 Highway 314, Treadwell will host the football camp from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. At the four-hour camp, the campers will focus on football fundamentals as well as being a leader and a role model.
Split into 20 groups, the campers will spend 20 minutes in seven stations that focus on different football skills. Laquon will be in charge of the wide receiver station where each camper will work with him one-on-one.
At the end of the camp, Treadwell will speak to the campers on the importance of good grades and choosing correct role models. Afterwards, the campers will get an individual picture with Treadwell.
The football great decided to forego compensation for this camp, choosing instead to put the money towards providing 55 scholarships to low-income and underprivileged players.
