The Grass Is Getting Green At Ole Miss
The grass is green at Ole Miss.
Sports Turf Company, Inc. released these aerial photographs of the newly expanded and renovated Vaught-Hemingway Stadium Tuesday morning. Part of the renovation was converting the playing field inside the stadium from an artificial surface to natural grass. The 2016 season will mark the first time since 2003 that Ole Miss will play on natural grass in Oxford.

Completion percentage is a semi-useful metric but it’s more indicative of the entirety of the offense and not necessarily the accuracy of the quarterback. A quarterback may complete a throw, but if it’s behind the receiver it was not an accurately thrown ball. Among Kelly’s 35 completions of 20 yards or more there are special throws that are deadly accurate. They allowed receivers to run after the catch or placed the ball where only the receiver can make a play.
In the midst of preseason camp, Ole Miss soccer continues its push towards its preseason match at SMU set for Friday, and the regular season opener Aug. 19 against Louisiana-Lafayette.
