Former Ole Miss Rebel Woodrow Hamilton has been called up off of the New England Patriots practice squad to the 53-man active roster. This is just in time for Sunday’s game against the Cleveland Browns.
Hamilton is a 6’3 1/2 315 pound undrafted rookie. Last season with the Rebels he played in every game with 12 starts at nose tackle. Helping the Ole Miss defense to rank among the top three SEC teams in tackles for loss.
During the preseason Hamilton shined as a good pass rusher and he will be a good player to help contribute to the stopping of the opponent’s rushing attack.
The Patriots and Browns kick off at noon eastern time tomorrow.
