OFFICIAL STATEMENT FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF MISSISSIPPI
“The University of Mississippi community is mourning the death of one of our students, Raegan Barnhart. The university offers its deepest sympathies to Raegan’s family and friends as well as the many members of the community who knew her.
“We are all deeply saddened to learn about Raegan’s passing,” said Mindy Sutton, UM’s assistant vice chancellor of student affairs and dean of students. “While so many of us are spending time with our families and friends during this Thanksgiving break, please keep Raegan’s friends, classmates and family in your thoughts and prayers.”
Originally from Hernando, Mississippi, Raegan, 21, was a member of the Delta Gamma Fraternity. She was a senior dietetics and nutrition major. Details regarding arrangements and services will be shared when they become available.
