Lafayette High School Encourages Fans to Buy State Championship Game Tickets This Week at the School
The community is excited to wish well the Lafayette High School Commodores football team as they captured the 4A North Title this weekend and make preparations to head to the 4A state championship this Saturday. Lafayette (12-2) will take on Poplarville (12-1) in the 4A State Championship on Dec 3rd at 3:00 in Starkville.
The Lafayette School District encourages all fans and well-wishers to purchase tickets in advance from the school. Advance tickets will be sold at the discounted rate of $14 and the District will receive 50 percent of all pre-sold tickets. Ticket prices will increase to $15 at the gate on the day of the game and will not be split with the District.
Advance tickets are available now at the Lafayette School District Central Office, Lafayette High School and Lafayette Middle School every day this week from 7 am – 4 pm, through 1 pm Friday. Support our schools, save $1, and buy your tickets in advance.
Other community-wide support includes a community-wide effort to paint the town red and gold. The Oxford-Lafayette County Chamber of Commerce encourages all Oxford and Lafayette County businesses to show their Commodore pride and support this week by decorating their store fronts in support of the Lafayette High School, “Let’s paint the town in Red and Gold!”
