Crime ReportOxford police responded to the following calls: One fire department assist, two welfare concerns, two suspicious activities, one suspicious person, three disturbing the peace, animal complaint, reported DUI, larceny (bicycle), two alarms, harassing phone call, simple assault, improper parking, two ambulance assist, suspicious vehicle, malicious mischief and a domestic (disturbance).

Oxford police investigated Five motor vehicle collisions, 49 traffic citations and made arrests on the following charge:

Speeding and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Speeding and DUI
Malicious Mischief and Disorderly Conduct – Failure to Comply
DUI

Lafayette Sheriff’s department responded to the following incidents: Two accidents, three disturbances, three service calls, one suspicious activity, welfare concern, trespassing, three civil matters and a traffic complaint.
