Hugh Freeze congratulates former assistant Tom Allen on Indiana hire
On Thursday, Indiana announced that Kevin Wilson had resigned as the head football coach and would be replaced by former Ole Miss assistant Tom Allen, Indiana’s defensive coordinator last season.
After the announcement, Ole Miss coach Hugh Freeze took to Twitter to congratulate his longtime friend.
Allen was Freeze’s linebackers coach and special teams coordinator from 2012-14 before taking the South Florida defensive coordinator position. Their relationship goes back further than that, however, as Allen was with Freeze at Lambuth University from 2008-09 and then again at Arkansas State in 2011.
