Oxford police responded to the following calls: Twenty-one alarms, four malicious mischief, nine suspicious activity, eight disturbing the peace, three domestic disturbances, animal complaint, two larceny (bicycles), two improper parking, two simple assualt, two ambulance assists, reported DUI, two welfare concerns, recovered property, three 9 1 1 hang-ups, report of lost property, two suspicious vehicle, suspicious person, credit card fraud, motor assists.

Oxford police investigated 13 vehicle collisions, issued 165 traffic citations and made arrests on the following charges:

No Headlights and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Speeding, No Proof of Liability Insurance and Driving While License Suspended
DUI (wreck)
Public Drunk
Speeding and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Open Container, Driving While License Suspended and Warrant Served
Careless Driving, No Drivers License and DUI

Lafayette Sheriff’s department responded to the following incidents: Three accidents, nine alarms, two animal complaints, two commercial burglary, seven disturbances, three harassment, malicious mischief, nine service calls, five suspicious activities, seven welfare concerns, three transports, trespassing, four civil matters, follow up, traffic detail, four traffic complaints, supplemental report.

Lafayette Sheriff’s department made four arrests on the following charges:
no driver’s license, DUI other
possession of paraphernalia
out of county warrant
no driver’s licence

Oxford Fire department responded to the following incidents: 

Friday December 9
A wreck with entrapment call – no entrapment near 1414 West Jackson area.

Saturday December 10
A pot of something left of stove and burned smoking up the house at 605 College Hill Road.
General fire alarm malfunction at 1004 Woodland Lane.

Sunday December 11
Heavy smoke with an authorized burning at Shiloh Place / The Connection area.
