John Rodes “Bodie” Martin proposed to Amanda Lee Cartwright on Dec. 22, 2016, on the rooftop balcony above Ya-Ya’s, looking down at the beautifully decorated Oxford Square!
“I had told Bodie during the summer that I always wanted to know what was up there, or go up there for drinks, or just to look at the Square from there,” Cartwright said. “He was able to get us up there for the night and proposed (complete with champagne and two beautiful champagne flutes from Oxford Floral). It was a cold but wonderful night!”
