The Ole Miss baseball team is inviting all area schools to the Rebels’ fifth annual school day game, March 28. Ole Miss will face Little Rock with first pitch set for 11 a.m. at Swayze Field.
Students, teachers, chaperones and bus drivers are encouraged to attend this event. All will receive complimentary admission to cheer the Rebels to victory.
Schools are welcome to bring sack lunches to the game, but concession stands will be available and will be featuring at school day combo meal for just $5. The meal includes a hot dog, chips and a juice box. The Rebel Shop will also be open and selling the latest in officially licensed Ole Miss merchandise.
For schools interested in attending the school day game, please RSVP by contacting Ole Miss Athletics Marketing at 662.915.3604, by email at sportsmarketing@olemiss.edu or here. Space is limited, and schools will be admitted on a first-come, first-served basis by reaching out to the marketing office in advance.
The Rebels are coming off another season that resulted in a trip to the postseason. Ole Miss won 43 games, the fifth-most in school history, to earn an NCAA Regional berth for the 21st time in program history. Making the tournament for the 14th time in the past 16 years, the Rebels hosted a regional for the seventh time during that span.
Ole Miss will open the season at home on Feb. 17 against East Carolina at 4 p.m. Season tickets are on sale at OleMissTix.com.
