Oxford police responded to the following calls: Reported DUI Driver three Disturbances, four Welfare Concerns, five Suspicious Activities, Illegally Parked Car, three Alarms, Code Violation, two Disturbances, three 911 911 Hang Ups, Ambulance Assist.
Oxford police investigated seven wrecks, issued 29 traffic citations and made arrests on the following charges:
Speeding, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, MIP & DUI
2 Public Intoxications
Wrong Way On a One Way, Careless Driving, Expired Tag, Suspended Driver’s License, Failure to Comply and DUI
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: accident, three alarms, animal complaint, seven disturbances, three service calls, three suspicious activities, welfare concern, two transport, three civil matters, three follow ups, traffic complaint.

circuit contempt

Workers sanding activated a smoke detector at Student Health Center.
A medical assist call to 1804 West Jackson Avenue no ambulance available.
Workers activated a carbon monoxide detector at 100 Carrier Lane.
A small spill of diesel fuel – washed the area down with water near Hwy. 7 / 6 area.
Burned mac and cheese activated smoke detector at the Sigma Pi house #115.
A sprinkler water flow system was malfunctioning at The Retreat Bldg. 310.
