Several Wrecks, Felony Cyberstalking And More In Today's Crime Report

Oxford police responded to the following calls: burglary of a building (off of South Lamar Blvd), six alarms, six disturbing the peace, harassing phone call, vehicle burglary (off of Old Taylor Rd), false pretense, report of recovered property, civil matter, suspicious persons, two domestic disturbance, ambulance assist, welfare concern, three petit larceny, malicious mischief, two 911 hang up.
Oxford police investigated seven wrecks, issued 18 traffic citations and made arrests on the following charges:
No Proof of Liability Insurance and No Driving License
Warrant Served
Improper Equipment, No Proof of Liability Insurance and Possession of a Fake ID
2 Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Possession of a Fake ID, Public Drunk and Simple Assault
Public Drunk
Excessive Speed, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Improper Equipment and DUI
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: two accident, seven alarms, petit larceny, two harassments, juvenile complaint, malicious mischief, five service calls, suspicious activities, two welfare concerns, transport, civil matter fraud.

Stood by while they changed a chlorine tank out at Winchester.
University Police
Officers made nine vehicle stops.
A hit and run at the on Sorority Row.
A report of petit larceny.
A harassing phone call to the Kappa Delta Sorority.
Officers helped with traffic detail on Grove Loop and Rebel Drive.
An intoxicated person at Stockard Hall.
