Oxford police responded to the following calls: Two Reported DUIs, Improper Parking, Alarm, Motorist Assist, False Pretense, Fire Department Assist, two Petit Larceny, Suspicious Person, two Welfare Concerns, four Suspicious Activity, Animal Complaint, Disturbing the Peace, Suspicious Vehicle, Civil Matter.
Oxford police investigated 10 wrecks, issued 20 traffic citations and made arrests on the following charges:

Child Endangerment (x3) and DUI
Domestic Violence – Simple Assault
Speeding and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: Accident, two alarms, residential burglary (CR 101), disturbance, domestic violence, harassment, 15 service calls, three suspicious activities, two transports, civil matter, traffic complaint
Lafayette Sheriff’s department made one arrest
Aggravated domestic violence
Oxford Fire Department
Workers sanding activated a smoke detector at 2301 West Jackson Ave.
Heavy hair spray activated the smoke detector at the Phi Mu House – room 24.
Putting in a new fire alarm system at Fat Cat’s Lamar Lounge.
University Police: Five vehicle stops, service call, wreck, larceny.
