Today, Feb. 22, is National Margarita Day. If you are lucky enough to celebrate this holiday in Oxford, you will find everything you need to know about margarita specials around town on this list. From 2-for-1 specials to happy hours and meal deals, this town and these restaurants know how to make margaritas not only delicious but also affordable. 

The Classic Duo – Papito’s

Conveniently located on Jackson Avenue, Papito’s has been an Oxford staple for over 10 years. This National Margarita Day, grab a friend and start off the celebration at Papito’s with a classic two for one special on lime margaritas, frozen or on the rocks, for just $7.99. 

The Traditionalist – South Depot

South Depot is the perfect spot to celebrate National Margarita Day the traditional way. Their original frozen lime margaritas for only $5 and location on the Oxford Square make for a great celebration location. 
 

The Happy Hour Special – Proud Larry’s

Not in the mood for a frozen margarita? Proud Larry’s has you covered. Enjoy the Square on this important date with a visit to Proud Larry’s during happy hour from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and have a lime margarita on the rocks for only $4. 
 

The Square Duo – Locals

Feel like having a margarita on the Square but getting a later start than happy hour? Locals is the answer. All day long, Locals will be offering two for one lime margaritas on the rocks for $7.

For just $1, you can enjoy a lime margarita on the rocks, or for an additional $0.55 you can add flavors such as mango, strawberry or peach. The best part is there is no limit to the number of margaritas you can order for just $1.
