Home Burglaries, Indecent Exposure And More In Today's Crime Report

Crime ReportOxford police responded to the following calls: Three motorist assists, three ambulance assists, six suspicious persons, eight welfare concerns, ten disturbing the peace, two reported DUIs, four 911 hang-ups, other agency assist, reported a recovered property, burglary of a residence (2400 Block of Anderson Rd), three petit larcenies, two malicious mischiefs, six improper parking, three domestic (disturbances), burglary of a residence (Robins Circle), nine suspicious activity, nine alarms, six civil matters, two fire department, assist, two reports of lost property, littering, two shoplifting, two code violations, joyriding, suspicious vehicle.
Oxford police investigated three wrecks, issued 24 traffic citations and made arrests on the following charges:
Simple Assault
Minor in Possession of Alcohol
2 Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Careless Driving, No Tag and DUI
No Headlights and DUI
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents:  accident, three alarms, three disturbances, juvenile complaint, three service calls, three suspicious activities, two civil matters.
Lafayette Sheriff’s department made one arrest
disorderly conduct
Oxford Fire Department: 
72 university avenue general alarm

University Police: suspicious vehicle, grand larceny, petit larceny, motor vehicle accident, indecent exposure, public drunk, seven vehicle stops, traffic detail, careless driving, possession of drug paraphernalia.
