Trespassing, Domestic Violence And More In Today's Crime Report
Oxford police responded to the following calls: suspicious person, two reported DUI’s, four disturbing the peace, identity theft, harassing phone call, four suspicious activity, three alarm, two scams, petit larceny, civil matter, report of recovered property, trespassing, two welfare concerns, burglary of a residence (off of Molly Barr Road), domestic violence.
Oxford police investigated nine wrecks, issued 26 traffic citations and made arrests on the following charges:
Speeding, No Proof of Liability Insurance, No Driving License and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
2 Possession of a Fake ID and Public Drunk
2 Public Drunk
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: accident, animal complaint, two disturbances, domestic violence, three service calls, three suspicious activities, two welfare concerns, credit card fraud, unauthorized use of vehicle.
Lafayette Sheriff’s department made three arrest
two domestic violence / simple assault
sexual battery of a child
Oxford Fire Department:
Kitchen Vent-A-Hood extinguishing system activated at Lenoir Hall.
University Police: 11 vehicle stops, suspicious vehicle, ambulance needed, vandalism, suspicious person, motor vehicle accident, property damage.
