Vandalism, Elevator Malfunctions And More In Today's Crime Report
Oxford police responded to the following calls: eight alarms, six noise violations, ten suspicious activities, petit larceny, welfare concern, three illegally parked cars, disturbance, motorist assist, malicious mischief.
Oxford police investigated 11 wrecks, issued 45 traffic citations and made arrests on the following charges:
Wrong way on a one way & DUI
Domestic Violence
No Headlights, Fake ID & DUI
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: aggravated assault, three alarms, five animal complaints, residential burglary (CR 101), four disturbances, petit larceny, harassment, two juvenile complaints, malicious mischief, six service
calls, suspicious activity, three welfare concerns, transport, follow up, two traffic complaints.
Lafayette Sheriff’s department made two arrest
Memphis warrant
disorderly conduct
Oxford Fire Department:
Someone stuck in an elevator at Baptist Memorial Hospital.
Someone stuck in an elevator at the Residential Hall #2.
General fire alarm activation – most likely due to the weather at 2215 Jefferson Davis Dr.
University Police: vandalism, four vehicle stops, service call, moving violations, fake ID, public drunk.
