Disorderly Conduct, Reckless Driving And More In Today's Crime Report

Crime ReportOxford police responded to the following calls: reported DUI, two animal complaint, alarm, 911 hang-up, civil matter, malicious mischief, six suspicious activity, two disturbing the peace, three petit larceny.
Oxford police investigated eight wrecks, issued 23 traffic citations and made arrests on the following charges:
No Driving License and No Proof of Liability Insurance
No Driving License
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (post-arrest)
Expired Tag, No Proof of Liability Insurance, Suspended Driving License and Disorderly Conduct – Failure to Comply
Noise Violation and Possession of a Fake ID
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents:  two animal complaints, disturbance, three petit larceny, two harassment, malicious mischief, six service calls, welfare concern, trespassing, three civil matters, four reckless driving, five information, three road obstructions, two fraud.
Lafayette Sheriff’s department made five arrests
no driver’s license, no insurance, ran stop sign
contempt warrant
harassing phone calls
reckless driving, suspended driver’s license, no proof of insurance
habitual offender, sale of controlled substance
Oxford Fire Department: 
Wreck with possible injuries ambulance available at Jackson Ave. / Country Club Road.
Seventh-floor lounge smoke detector malfunction at Crosby Hall.

University Police: Intoxicated person, vehicle stop, ambulance needed, hit and run, credit card fraud.
