Rebels Climb In Polls After Vandy Defeat

Monday, the Ole Miss Baseball team climbed seven spots in this week’s poll after taking two-of-three from Vanderbilt in the SEC series opener.

The Rebels took game one Friday night by the score of 1-0 setting a new shutout streak record to five straight games. Vanderbilt took the second game by the use of the long ball. Sunday afternoon, Ole Miss and Vandy battled in a wild rubber match that lasted over four hours. Want the full three-game series breakdown? The Ole Miss Rebels sit at No. 11 in this week’s Baseball America rankings and No. 14 in D1 Baseball.
