High Number Of Arrests, Vehicle Burglary And More In Today's Crime Report
Oxford police responded to the following calls: three alarms, three welfare concerns, three motorist assist, two petit larceny, vehicle burglary, suspicious person, disturbing the peace, two 911 hang-up, false pretense, two suspicious activity, recovered property, ambulance assist, malicious mischief.
Oxford police investigated nine wrecks, issued 22 traffic citations and made arrests on the following charges:
No Driving License, No Proof of Liability Insurance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Warrant Served
Warrant Served
4 Minor in Possession of Alcohol
Improper Equipment (one head light) and DUI
Domestic Violence – Simple Assault
2 Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
DUI
Switched Tag and Possession of Marijuana in a Motor Vehicle
Seatbelt Violation, Careless Driving and DUI
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: alarm, three animal complaints, three disturbances, petit larceny, five service calls, suspicious activity, welfare concerns, two transports, two civil matters, traffic complaint, unauthorized use of vehicle, vehicle fire.

No reports for the fire department on Tuesday
University Police: harassing telephone calls, traffic detail, vehicle stop, ambulance needed at Pavilion, intoxicated person, assist with traffic, property damage suspicious vehicle.
