Domestic Violence, City Ordinance Violation And More In Today's Crime Report

Crime ReportOxford police responded to the following calls: Eight alarms, two disturbing the peace, seven suspicious activities, domestic violence, three abusive calls to 911, civil matter, careless driving, two simple assault, malicious mischief, city ordinance violation, parking violation.
Oxford police investigated nine wrecks, issued 26 traffic citations and made arrests on the following charges:
DUI 1st, Improper Equipment, Leaving Scene of Accident
Careless Driving, DUI 1st, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, MIP, Possession Fake DL,
Public Drunk
Run Red Light, Possession of Schedule I Drug
Careless Driving, DUI 1st, Suspended D.L., Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Open Container, Possession of Fake ID
Speeding, MIP
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: six alarms, three animal complaints, disturbance, three harassments, juvenile complaint, four service calls, suspicious activity, welfare concern, five transports, civil matter, two follow up, traffic detail.

writ to take custody
Oxford Fire Department: 
Wreck with injuries – stood by with patient until ambulance arrived on Hwy. 6 and Thacker Road.

University Police: two motor vehicle accidents, six vehicle stops, larceny, ambulance needed, assist with traffic, attempted suicide.
