Grand Larceny, Vehicle Burglary And More In Today's Crime Report
Oxford police responded to the following calls: ambulance assist, two alarms, four welfare concern, code violation (trash), two suspicious vehicle, two credit card fraud, vehicle burglary (700 Block of North Lamar Blvd), three petit larceny, reported DUI, identify theft, motorist assist, vehicle burglary (Price Street), civil matter two suspicious persons, disturbing the peace.
Oxford police investigated six wrecks, issued 24 traffic citations and made arrests on the following charges:
Speeding, Suspended Driving License and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Improper Equipment (one headlight) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (post arrest citation)
Careless Driving, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and DUI
Careless Driving and DUI
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (post arrest citation)
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: accident, simple assault, three alarms, three disturbances, grand larceny, four service calls, two suspicious activity, welfare concern, civil matter, four follow-ups, two traffic complaints, three sex offender violations.
Lafayette Sheriff’s department made one arrests
possession with intent to sell controlled substance
Oxford Fire Department:
Smell of gas call unfounded at 210 South 17th Street.
University Police: 12 vehicle stops, suspicious vehicle, harassment, assist with traffic, stalking, ambulance needed, possession of drug paraphernalia and minor in possession of alcoholic beverage.
