EC Sox Red U12 Wins Ball Life Invitational Grand Slam Tournament


Over the weekend, the Oxford-based EC Sox Red U12 team won the Ball Life Invitational Grand Slam Tournament over in Ripley, MS.
The EC Sox Red advanced out of pool play to bracket play to beat the Mid-South Storm to move into the championship game against the Calhoun Cubs. In the championship game, the Sox defeated the Cubs 10-6.
Logan Caldwell won MVP honors for the tournament, highlighted by his performance on the mound in the championship game. 
This is the first tournament win for the club and its coaches. The coaching staff consists of Reed Robinson, Bill Eddins, Ryan Holland and Greg Lewis.
