Fat Eddie’s announced earlier today on the restaurant’s facebook page, that they will close their doors. This news comes just six months after the restaurant was rebranded as an Italian restaurant. Located on North Lamar, the establishment was formerly known as the Lamar Lounge.
Chef John Currence, owner of famed restaurants such as City Grocery and Big Bad Breakfast, took the restaurant over in 2013 and oversaw the transformation of the Lamar Lounge into Fat Eddie’s.
The post thanked customers for their support and left the door open for future pop-up events despite the closing of the restaurant.
