Oxford police responded to the following calls: Four alarms, disturbing the peace, fire department assist, motorist assist, two noise violations, other agency assist, simple assault, three suspicious persons, two suspicious activity, theft from a motor vehicle, welfare concern.
Oxford police investigated nine wrecks, issued 12 traffic citations and made arrests on the following charges:
DUI 1st, Open container, failure to yield
No seatbelt, no liability insurance, expired driver’s license, and warrant for embezzlement
Two shoplifting
Switched Tag, No Driver’s License
Warrant served for child abuse
Two warrants served for probation violations
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: Three alarms, animal complaint, three disturbances, domestic violence, harassment, juvenile complaint, eight service calls, four welfare concerns, nine transports, follow up, two civil matters, natural cause of death.

Oxford Fire Department:
Workers accidentally bumped the fire alarm pull station at the Sigma Pi House.
Workers activated a smoke detector at 1108 South Lamar.
Employees activated a smoke detector at Chick-Fil-A.
Call in was cancelled to Baptist Memorial Hospital.
A drop in water pressure activated the water flow alarm at Faser Hall
A check valve was leaking in the riser room activating the fire alarm at the John White Building.
University Police: Petit larceny, disturbance, assault and vandalism.
