Disturbing The Peace, Careless Driving And More In Today's Crime Report
Oxford police responded to the following calls: Three disturbing the peace, two alarms, abuse of 911, seven suspicious activity, two motorist assist, three suspicious vehicle, two domestic disturbances, malicious mischief, three suspicious persons, three careless driving, trespassing, residential burglary, fire department assist, 911 hang up, ambulance assist, two civil matters elderly assist, improper parking.
Oxford police investigated eight wrecks, issued 13 traffic citations and made arrests on the following charges:
public drunk
simple assault
possession of drug paraphernalia
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: Two accident, four alarms, two animal complaints, disturbance, domestic violence, four service calls, three suspicious activities, welfare concern, transport, four information, two follow up, two reckless driving, court detail, road obstruction, two civil matters.

Oxford Fire Department:
A wreck at Hwy 6 and Thacker Loop
Two people stuck on an elevator at Bldg. C of Turnberry Condos.
A smoke detector beeping due to a low battery at 3001 Esplinade Ridge
University Police: Suspicious person, suspicious vehicle, accident property damage, vehicle stop, accident hit and run, other forms of harassment.
