Alarms, Suspicious Person And More In Today's Crime Report

Oxford police responded to the following calls: Four alarms, four ambulance assist, animal complaint, civil matter, defrauding innkeeper, five disturbing the peace, two lost property, malicious mischief, other agency assist, two suspicious activity, suspicious person, suspicious vehicle, two utility call out, three welfare concerns.
Oxford police investigated eight accidents, 14 tickets and made the following arrest:
Domestic violence—simple assault
DUI 1st, Disorderly conduct, open container, no headlights
public drunk
shoplifting
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: Alarm, two animal complaints, three disturbances, two domestic violence, juvenile complaint, seven service calls, three suspicious activities, welfare concern, two transports, three information, follow up, unauthorized use of vehicle, fraud, court detail, two road obstructions, two civil matters, disturbance of peace.
Lafayette Sheriff’s department made four arrests
2 domestic violence, simple assault
writ to take custody
warrant, possession of a stolen firearm
Oxford Fire Department:
Medical call possible heart attack—EMS on the scene before FD arrived at Della Davidson.
Call canceled for 416 North 11th Street.
Wreck no ambulance available—no medical attention needed by the fire department at Hwy. 6 and Thacker Loop.
University Police: Intoxicated person, suspicious person, trespass, disturbing the peace, public drunk, accident hit n run, ambulance needed, accident property damage, assist with traffic, vehicle stop, petit larceny, minor in possession, fake ID.
