The Ole Miss Rifle Team has scheduled two open tournaments, October 29 and November 12, respectively, at the Patricia C. Lamar National Guard Readiness Center, located at Hwy. 7 and Sisk Avenue.
Match fees are $25 for the combined aggregate and $15 for a single event. Each day is a separate tournament and require separate fees. Make checks payable to the Ole Miss Athletics Foundation – Rifle. Entry fees will be collected on site. No awards will be given.
The Ole Miss rifle range has 12 firing points with Megalink electronic targets. Prone mats will be provided. Participants are required to provide their own shooting equipment to include competition smallbore and/or air rifles and ammunition designed for target shooting as well as a shooting jacket, pants, boots, sling, kneeling roll and glove meeting USA Shooting Rules.
Firing times are 8:15 smallbore; 10:45 air rifle; 12:45 smallbore; and 3:15 air rifle
Prep/Sighter Period will start 15 minutes prior to time listed.
