Alarm, DUI's and More in Today's Crime Report

Crime ReportOxford police responded to the following calls: Three 911 hang ups, abandon vehicle, 11 alarms, six ambulance assist, five animal complaints, five careless driving, four civil matters, credit card fraud, 19 disturbing the peace, fire department assist, grand larceny, 11 improper parking, indecent exposure, two k9 search, leaving the scene—property damage, six lost property, malicious mischief, four motorist assist, noise violation, obstructing traffic, ordinance violation, other agency assist, three petit larceny, two recovered property, six reported public drunks, shoplifting, four simple assault, 15 suspicious activity, two suspicious person, four suspicious vehicle, seven welfare concerns.
Oxford police investigated 29 accidents, 70 tickets and made the following arrest:

DUI 2nd, Possession of Schedule 4 Drug
Fake ID, Speeding
4 MIP
Noise Violation
Open Container, MIP
Possession of Fake ID
Possession of Paraphernalia
Possession of Paraphernalia, Careless Driving
2 Possession of Schedule 1 Drug
Possession of Schedule 1 Drug, No Taillights
21 Public Drunk

Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: Three accidents, 11 alarms, five animal complaints, eight disturbances, domestic violence, harassment, malicious mischief, four service calls, four suspicious activities, 13 welfare concerns, two transports, seven trespassing, three papers served, 10 information, two follow up, unauthorized use of vehicle, traffic complaint, two reckless driving, two road obstruction, two civil matters, three disturbing the peace.
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department made four arrests
Driving without license
Two contempt warrants
Sale of controlled substance warrant
Oxford Fire Department:
The fire report will be released on Tuesday.
University Police: Ambulance needed, accident property damage, suspicious person, suspicious vehicle, fight, petit larceny, stalking, simple assault, loud music, public drunk, intoxicated person, vehicle stop, possession of paraphernalia.
