Careless Driving, Lost Property, and More in Today's Crime Report

Crime ReportOxford police responded to the following calls:  911 hang up, two alarms, ambulance assist, careless driving, two disturbing the peace, two domestic disturbance, lost property, malicious mischief, motorist assist, two noise violations, petit larceny, three reported public drunks, shoplifting, suspicious activity, two suspicious person, theft from a motor vehicle, welfare concern.
Oxford police investigated  nine accident, 10 tickets and made the following arrest:
Disorderly conduct
Public Drunk
Shoplifting, Possession of Paraphernalia, trespassing, 2 Warrants served
Shoplifting, Possession of Paraphernalia, warrant served
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: two accidents, simple assault, two alarms, two disturbances, petit larceny, two harassment, juvenile complaint, malicious mischief, two service calls, suspicious activity/persons welfare concern three transports follow up reckless driving, court detail, civil matter.
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department made one arrests

Oxford Fire Department:
Fire department will be released on Friday.
University Police: Vehicle stops, assist with traffic, accident hit n run, harassment, assist with traffic, simple assaults.
