Alarms, Noise Violations, and More in Today's Crime Report

Crime ReportOxford police responded to the following calls:  911 hang up, six alarms, ambulance assist, disturbing the peace, lost property, malicious mischief, two noise violations obstructing traffic, two petit larceny, property damage, recovered property, simple assault, four suspicious activity, five suspicious persons, welfare concern.
Oxford police investigated  five accident, 11 tickets and made the following arrest:
DUI 1st, One Headlight
DUI 1st, Possession of Paraphernalia
DUI 1st, speeding
three possession of a Fake ID
Public Drunk, Fake ID, Littering
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: Two accidents, animal complaint, two service calls, four suspicious activities, transports, unauthorized use of vehicle, traffic complaint, reckless driving, two civil matters.
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department made one arrests
writ to take custody
Oxford Fire Department:
Fire department will be released on Friday.
University Police: Accident hit n run, vehicle stop, public drunk, loud noise, ambulance needed.
