Diamond Rebels Drop to No. 5 in D1 Baseball Rankings

The diamond Rebels drop two spots in D1 Baseball to No. 5 in the nation after dropping a series to in-state rival Mississippi State.

Ole Miss (27-6, 7-5 SEC) lost a heartbreaker in the bottom of the 11th on a walk-off home run to drop their first series of the season.
Arkansas flipped flopped with the Rebels after going 5-0 throughout the week and taking over the number one spot in the SEC West standings.
Eight teams from the SEC are slotted throughout the top 25 rankings this week. Florida sits at the top of the polls at No. 1.
The Rebels return to action on Tuesday as they take on No. 13 Southern Mississippi between the chalk of Trustmark Park in Pearl, Mississippi. First pitch is slated for 6 p.m.
