Diamond Rebs Climb to No. 6 in D1 Baseball Polls

The Ole Miss diamond Rebels climb up to No. 6 in the nation in D1 Baseball rankings after a series win over No. 12 Georgia.

Ole Miss (32-9, 10-8 SEC) jumped up five spots from No. 11 in the poll after going 3-1 on the week. The Rebels dropped Friday night’s game against Georgia by a score of 3-2 before sweeping the doubleheader on Saturday.
A total of six teams from the SEC are in the Top 25 this week with Florida remaining at No. 1 in the nation.
This weekend, the Rebels welcome the LSU Tigers into Swayze for a three-game series. The Tigers dropped out of the polls after being swept by South Carolina over the weekend.
Ole Miss and Mississippi State step out of conference to face each other Tuesday in the annual Governor’s Cup in Pearl, Mississippi.
