The No. 5 Ole Miss women’s tennis team heads into the sweet sixteen of the NCAA Tournament on Thursday against the UCLA Bruins in Winston Salem, North Carolina. The match is set to begin at 6 p.m.

Ole Miss heads into this weekend after defeating Missouri State and Wichita State in the first and second rounds of the NCAA Tournament of the Oxford Regional.
This is the Rebels first apperance in the Sweet Sixteen since the 2010 season.
The Rebels are lead on the court by senior Arianne Harntono who is 31-6 on the season overall, 22-2 at No. 1 singles and she has won 11 straight. Her teammate Anna Vrbenska is now 16-4 in dual matches.
UCLA (22-5) punched their ticket to the Sweet Sixteen with a 4-0 win against No. 25 Baylor in the NCAA second round. In the first round, the Bruins routed Fresno State, 4-0. The Bruins have won 13 of their last 14 matches with the only loss coming against Stanford, 4-2. UCLA is led by Ena Shibahara, who is ranked No. 9 with a 25-8 overall record, 15-5 at No. 1 singles. The Bruins also boast No. 33 Jada Hart, No. 67 Abi Altick and No. 121 Alaina Miller in their lineup.
With their 4-3 win earlier in the year at the National Team Indoor, the Rebels evened up the series with UCLA 2-2. This will be the third meeting between the two schools in the NCAA Tournament. They last met in the NCAAs in 2014 in Los Angeles in the second round with the Bruins winning 4-0.
All the information on the NCAA Championships throughout the remainder of the tournament can be found at the championship central page. All the matches will feature live scoring and live video.
