Game, set and match. Ole Miss women’s tennis senior Arianne Hartono captured the first national champion title in the program’s history on Monday at the Wake Forest Tennis Complex.
Hartono defeated Pepperdine’s Ashley Lahey in straight sets 6-4, 6-2 to cap off a great college career.
Hartono dominated the second set after a rocky start to the beginning of the match. She sets a new standard for Ole Miss women’s tennis by bringing the title trophy back to Oxford.
