NFL Legend Brett Favre Supports Hyde-Smith in Election Ad

Football legend Brett Favre recently backed interim Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith for the U.S. Senate seat in a video published by the U.S. Chamber Action. Favre is a Gulfport, Mississippi native and attended the University of Southern Mississippi.
“I don’t like to talk politics, but I love Mississippi way too much to stay quiet in this election,” Favre said in the ad.
Hyde-Smith will be on the Republican ticket when the election is held Nov. 6. She faces Republican state Sen. Chris McDaniel and Democratic former U.S. Agriculture Secretary Mike Espy in a special election for the seat, according to her website.
