Former Ole Miss left-hander Ryan Rolison made his professional debut with the Grand Junction Rockies on Tuesday as they defeated the Billings Mustangs 9-4.

Rolison and former Rebel Will Golsan are both teammates with the Rookie affiliate of the Colorado Rockies.
The southpaw was handed a 3-0 prior to going to the mound where he retired the side in order in the first inning. Rolison got a called third strike on Reshard Munroe to close out the frame. He only needed 11 pitches to end the inning.
In the second inning, the Rockies extended the lead to 6-0 with an RBI double off the bat of Golsan. He came in to score on a balk.
The Mustangs got to Rolison in the second with a home run by Pabel Manzanero, then he settled back in to strike out Jay Schuyler.
Rolison finished the night with two innings played, allowing one run on a hit and striking out two batters.
