The 2018 BancorpSouth bus will roll into the last leg of its trip—Jackson and Memphis—next week.
On Tuesday, July 17, the 7th annual speaking tour will visit The Westin Jackson beginning at 5:30 p.m. CT, and the lineup will include football head coach Matt Luke, basketball coaches Kermit Davis and Yolett McPhee-McCuin and baseball coach Mike Bianco.
The Memphis meeting will take place Thursday, July 19 at Autozone Park as part of Ole Miss Night for the Memphis Redbirds. RRT festivities will start at 5 p.m., in the club level and will continue until game time at 7 p.m., with Luke throwing out the first pitch. Vice Chancellor for Intercollegiate Athletics Ross Bjork and Chancellor Jeffrey Vitter will join Luke and McPhee-McCuin at the podium.
“As it has in the past, the BancorpSouth Rebel Road Trip is going to provide an excellent platform to introduce our new coaches and personally thank Rebel Nation for its unwavering support,” said Kyle Campbell, Ole Miss associate athletics director for communications. “We look forward to once again partnering with the Alumni Association and connecting with our fans, not only locally, but in some of our nation’s largest markets.”
In addition to the speakers, the BancorpSouth Rebel Road Trip (#RRT18) meetings include autograph opportunities, photo booths, official merchandise, football posters, an exciting video look at the university and information tables for the Athletics Foundation and the Alumni Association.
The BancorpSouth Rebel Road Trip visited 40 markets and nearly 24,000 fans in its first seven years. The caravan traveled to New York City, Charlotte and Pensacola, among 13 other destinations this year.
