Two Employees Charged With Embezzlement From Walmart

Loss prevention officers with Walmart in Oxford filed a report with the Oxford Police Department on July 5 that two employees were suspected of stealing merchandise while at work.

Keltrick Harden, 26, of Oxford allegedly stole approximately $1,011 worth of merchandise and Kewan Owens, 22, of Oxford allegedly stole $1,445 worth of items. The items were stolen over a two-month period while the two men were employed at Walmart.
Harden and Owens were arrested Thursday and charged with felony embezzlement. They were taken to the Lafayette County Detention Center. Harden received a $1,000 bond and Owens received a $1,500 bond.
