The following reports were made July 25, 2018, by city, university and county law enforcement agencies. 
Oxford Police Department investigated four wrecks, issued 18 tickets and investigated the following reports:

2 animal complaint
3 disturbing the peace complaints
1 domestic disturbance
1 K9 search
1 simple assault
5 suspicious activities
1 suspicious person
5 theft of a motor vehicle
2 trespassing complaints
2 vehicle searches
1 welfare check
Officers made the following arrests:
1 expired driver’s license, expired tag, no insurance and no child restraint
1 possession of drug paraphernalia, suspended driver’s license, no tag and no seat belt
1 shoplifting
Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department investigated one wreck, made no arrests and investigated the following reports:
1 simple assault
2 alarms
3 disturbances
1 grand theft
2 petty thefts
4 suspicious activities
2 welfare checks
1 trespassing
3 informational reports
2 civil matters
1 assist
University Police Department investigated two wrecks, two reports of larceny and one report of trespassing and conducted two traffic stops.
Oxford Fire Department responded at 10:07 p.m. to the ATO house for a smoke detector malfunction.
