Ole Miss Volleyball Host Fan Appreciation Day

The Ole Miss volleyball team host annual Fan Appreciation Day on Aug. 18 at the Gillom Athletics Performance Center to catch the Red/Blue scrimmage at 2 p.m.
Along with the scrimmage, Ole Miss will host a Kids Clinic from 11 a.m. – Noon, open to kids ages 5-12. At 12:30 p.m. coach Steven McRoberts will host a Volleyball 101 class. Fans will learn about the different positions and rules of the game.
Fan Appreciation Day will conclude with the annual Red/Blue Scrimmage at 2 p.m. This will mark the fans’ first opportunity to see the team in action before they open the season in Iowa at the Iowa State Invitational Aug. 24-25.
The Rebels return four starters plus senior libero Caroline Adams. Junior Emily Stroup paces the offensive attack after setting the single-season kills record last year and earning NIVC MVP honors. Both setters Jordan Fate (junior) and Lauren Bars (sophomore) return as well as middle blockers Nayo Warnell (junior) and Bayleigh Scott (sophomore).
Ole Miss reports to fall camp on Aug. 7 and practice starts on Aug. 8.
Doors will open for Fan Appreciation Day at 10:30 a.m. on Aug.18 with the clear bag policy in effect.
