Oxford Police Department issued 33 tickets, investigated five wrecks and the following reports:

1 welfare check
Officers made arrests on the following charges:
1 disorderly conduct, public drunk and fake ID
1 DUI, fake ID and no insurance
2 possessions of drug paraphernalia
1 driving while license suspended, one headlight and out-of-jurisdiction warrant
Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department investigated two wrecks and the following reports:

1 residential burglary (CR 369)
1 disturbance
1 grand larceny
1 harassment
4 service calls
4 suspicious activities
1 vandalism
5 welfare concerns
2 scams
1 transport
1 information
9 papers served
Deputies made the following arrests:
1 for contempt of court
1 grand theft

University Police Department conducted two vehicle stops and issued two citations for moving violations.
Oxford Fire Department responded to the following calls:
At 11:12 a.m. to Tri Delta house to test the alarm system
At 11:56 a.m. to Delta Psi house for HVAC employee fell through the ceiling breaking a sprinkler pipe
At 12:47 p.m. to the university’s generator plant for generators came on without the vent opening which activated the heat detector
At 1:26 p.m. to Alpha Phi first dry storage smoke detector malfunction
At 1:33 p.m. to 3044 Davis Drive for a medical assist
At 3:48 p.m. to 307 Garner St. for a carbon monoxide detector malfunction
At 4:14 p.m. to Campus Creek for someone pressure washing the building activated a detector
At 10:01 p.m. to 729 Shady Oaks Circle for a lift assist
