University Police Department investigated a wreck, a report of a minor in possession of alcohol and conducted a traffic stop.
Oxford Fire Department responded to the following calls:
At 8:02 a.m. to Swayze Field – fumes from painting activated a smoke detector
At 10:05 a.m. to 1520 West Jackson Parking lot – OUT bus smoking – no fire it was steam
At 10:16 a.m. to the Flatts Bldg. 10 – worker accidentally knocked the pull station fire
At 12:06 p.m. to Molly Barr Ridge – fire alarm activation due to the system being turned back on
At 12:14 p.m. to Kappa Alpha Theta house – heavy spray of hairspray activated a smoke detector
At 12:51 p.m to – Hwy. 6 / West Jackson Ave. – wreck with one injury – placed c-collar on the patient and stood by for EMS
At 1:03 p.m. to Hwy. 6 / Chucky Mullins – wreck with no injuries
At 5:37 p.m. to The Cove – water leaking into a smoke detector from the upstairs
At 1:56 this morning to 1510 East Jackson Ave. for an unresponsive 18 year old due to intoxication
