Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department made no arrests and investigated the following reports:

Deputies made the following arrests:
1 domestic violence with simple assault
1 possession of drug paraphernalia
1 possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to comply
1 disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and assault on a police officer
1 driving on a suspended license
University Police Department investigated three wrecks, made eight traffic stops and investigated the following reports:
1 suspicious person
2 frauds
2 vandalism
2 medical calls
Officers made one arrest for public drunkenness.
Oxford Fire Department responded to the following calls:
At 8:28 a.m. to Faulkner Flats for a 20-year-old female having trouble breathing
At 1:40 p.m. to Chi Omega house after a smoke machine activated smoke detectors
At 5:41 p.m. to the Grove near the stage for a medical call where a female felt like she was going to pass out
At 10:04 a.m. to Martin Hall after a subject had one drink at a party and felt “weird and sick”
At 10:09 p.m. to 265 N. Lamar after police asked for a medical call for a subject who was in a fight
