Rebels’ CeCe Kizer Named to TopDrawerSoccer Team of the Week

Ole Miss’ senior CeCe Kizer continues to garner accolades after being named the SEC’s Offensive Player of the Week. She was recently dubbed to the TopDrawerSoccer Team of the Week after a an explosive opening weekend on the pitch.

Kizer helped lead the Rebels to a pair of blowout victories against Louisiana and Western Kentucky University. The Overland Park, Kansas native netted four goals in 89 minutes of action over the weekend.

Against Western Kentucky University, Kizer pulled off the hat-trick to help secure a 4-0 win and move Ole Miss to 2-0 on the season.

The Rebels return to action on Friday as they travel to Minneapolis to face the Minnesota Golden Gophers at 7 p.m. On Sunday, Ole Miss hosts Murray State at 6 p.m.
