Oxford Police Department issued 31 tickets, investigated three wrecks and the following reports:
1 911 hang-up
5 alarms
1 alarm
1 ambulance assist
1 animal complaint
1 disturbance
1 domestic disturbance
1 K9 search
1 larceny
2 motorist assists
2 public drunks
1 recovered property
2 suspicious activities
1 vehicle search
2 welfare checks

OPD made the following arrests:
2 for trespassing
1 warrant served

Lafayette Sheriff’s Department made no arrests, investigated one wreck and the following reports:
3 alarms
1 animal complaint
3 disturbances
1 suspicious activity
1 vandalism
1 information

University Police Department investigated two wrecks and the following reports:
3 suspicious vehicles
1 harassment
3 vandalism complaints
1 malicious mischief
1 suspicious person

UPD made one arrest possession of drug paraphernalia and driving without headlights

Oxford Fire Department responded to the following calls:
6:19 a.m. – Highway 6 West around Clear Creek Road – one car wreck with the Blazer on its side – broke back glass and walked the lady out
10:53 and 11:11 a.m. – First Presbyterian Church – no alarm present – office staff said the alarm never went off
11:03 a.m. – 1081 Augusta Drive – smoke detector malfunction
12:18 p.m. – Kinard Hall room – burned scone in the microwave
