Ole Miss Student Injured After Hit & Run

The University of Mississippi Police Department is investigating a hit-and-run with a vehicle involving a pedestrian that suffered serious injuries.

The incident occurred around 2 a.m. on Saturday near the intersection of Northgate Drive and Sorority Row.

A vehicle struck a pedestrian, who was found a short time later at the scene with severe injuries before being transported to the hospital.

The pedestrian involved in the incident is a University of Mississippi student. UPD asks anyone who may have information about this incident to please call (662) 915-7234.
