On Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2018, at approximately 3 a.m., officers with the Oxford Police Department responded to a residence on Mimosa Drive for a report of a stolen vehicle.
Officers discovered the vehicle a short while later but it was abandoned.
Larry Gillom, 55 of Abbeville, was discovered to be the suspect after an investigation.
Gillom was taken into custody later that day and transported to the Lafayette County Detention Center where he was charged with felony motor vehicle theft.
His bond was set at $10,000 by a Justice Court Judge but it was revoked due to Gillom already being out on a previous felony bond.
