Oxford Police Department Hosting National Car Seat Check Event

Oxford residents will have the chance to receive safety tips and car seat installation instructions during National Seat Check Saturday on Sept. 29.

The event will be hosted at the Oxford Police Department at 715 Molly Barr Road on Sept. 29 from 8 a.m. to noon.

Parents and caregivers will have the opportunity for a certified child safety technician to check their car seats, ensuring that they are installed correctly and fitted adequately.

The event is free of charge and participants can arrive at any time, but it is advised to call ahead.
