Former Ole Miss QB Chad Kelly Arrested in Colorado
Former Ole Miss quarterback and backup quarterback for the Denver Broncos Chad Kelly was arrested early Tuesday morning in Englewood, Colorado. He is facing a charge of first-degree criminal trespassing, according to Yahoo Sports.
According to a police report, a man (allegedly Kelly) was reported outside a residence on South Lincoln Street at 1:17 a.m. When officers arrived they learned the male had entered the home.
Police identified the man as Chad Kelly, who was chased out of the house by a resident then found in a black SUV away from the house.
The Denver Broncos released a statement this morning regarding the arrest:
“We are disappointed that Chad Kelly was arrested early this morning. Our organization has been in contact with Chad, and we are in the process of gathering more information.”
